Monkey Facts
No other animal can be so much fun to watch or create such a
level of controversy as the ape. Evolutionists continue to claim
humans evolved from these interesting creatures, while
creationist rely on the Bible's account that we were created in
the image of God.
Personally, I'm not too
crazy about the monkey origin bit, but I still love to watch
these fun loving animals, even if I'm not related to them.
Famous Apes
King
Kong - the biggest movie monkey of all time, both
financially, and physically.
Grape Ape - A giant
gorilllilla, well that's how they said it on the cartoon every
Saturday morning back in the 70's. Every time someone saw him
and his beagle buddy they would freak out and run faster than if
he was King Kong himself.
B.J.
and the Bear - A 1970's TV show about a trucker and his
pet err pal monkey named the Bear. I sure hope this one gets put
on DVD. I used to love watching this one as a kid.
Ghostbusters
70's Live Action Saturday Morning show - It starred Forrest Tucker as Jake Kong, Larry Storch as Eddie Spenser, and Bob Burns as Tracy the Gorilla. Tracy, and the sons of Jake and Eddie (who were also named Jake and Eddie) were later incorporated in to a cartoon television series, known alternately as The Original Ghostbusters/Filmation's Ghostbusters, which ran from 1986 to 1988.
