Michael Jordan was a two-time Olympic gold medalist in men's basketball. The
first was in L.A. in 1984, and the second was in Barcelona in 1992 (as part of
the celebrated original Dream Team).
Michael Jordan played for the
Chicago Bulls
and the
Washington Wizards.
He holds the record as the Chicago Bulls all time leader in points, rebounds,
assists, and steals. In 1996 he was chosen as one of the 50 greatest basketball
players of all time. In 1999, Jordan was voted the greatest athlete of the
twentieth century by ESPN.
Michael became a movie star in 1996 starring with
Bugs Bunny and the rest of
the Looney Tunes cast in Space Jam.
